What I Wore | Makeup & Outfit | ASOS | Primark

Hello and welcome to my blog. This is another what I wore. First I will give you some spiritual food.

The scripture today was taken from Colossians 1:29 and 2 - 11. The summary of what was taught to us was to be careful of philosophy of man which has no life in it. And also praying as we may or may not know is a spiritual battle as Paul talks about in his praying for the people in Colosse.

The look
Today I used my L A Girl Pro Foundation in Rich Cocoa. For concealer, I mixed MAC studio fix concealer in NW45 and L A Girl Pro concealer in fawn. I used Ben nye powder in to in topaz.

For my eye shadow I used MUAs eye shadow pallette Nautral obsession colour 13 on the outer corners of my eyelids and 23 on the lids. I also applied a it of colour 17 in the corners of my eyes. In the outer corner to darken it a bit I applied a bit of the matte obsessed from the Ultimate undressed palette.

For a face powder I used MACs studio fix in NW 45. I really like the finish look seeing that I am not a pro but an amateur I can see how I am developing as time goes by. ☺️ Depending on how good I get I ma.y do my own makeup for my wedding day. 🤭😅

For my lips I used elf velvet lipstick in Ruby red

The outfit
I absolutely love the circle skirt which I got from asos. The top is from Primark however initially I wore this outfit with a blouse from H&M but I left the iron on it and it basically destroyed the tblouse so I had to wear what I am currently wearing. The shoes are from Newlook. You can also rock this look with a read shoe u have done it before.

Let me know what you like about this look or what you would add or how differently you would put this look together.

Thanks for stopping by. Make sure to come back for more fashion and eye shadow inspiration.

I Made My First Wig With Lace Closure

Hello and welcome to my blog. In this post I will be writing about some of the things I have been up to, particularly things to do with hair.
I had this routine where I braided my hair and kept it for about a maximum of 3 months, took it down, treated my scalp and then follow the cycle again.
To be honest I was a bit tired of this process as it took a little over 10 hours to braid the hair and the thought of taking it down was a bit daunting too.

The initial plan was to have a friend construct a wig for me however because she lives a bit too far from me I gather this courage and awoke the wild side of me to fantasize about the idea of making my own wig.

And I did 😁. I purchased the equipment from aliexpress.com together with two set of hair:  1) Two 14 inches bundles and a 12inches  closure; 2) Three 10 inches bundles and 8 inches closure. I bought both of these from aliexpress.

To be able to do this I watched a few videos from peakmill, estelive and Ashley Bedeck on YouTube. I made what I…

Thrifted Transformation Project: Process

Hello and welcome. It has been a while since I made a post. I promise to keep the post coming.

In this post I am introducing you to an outfit I put together. The top part of the outfit is made with Kente cloth which is a traditional Ghanaian print. This was a piece of cloth that came with a dress my grandad made for me a few years back. I am having to thrift that dress and will reveal it soon.

I watched YouTube to replicate a pattern however after putting it together I didn't like it as I felt it was too revealing and was thinking of throwing it away or taking it apart and using it for something else until I had an epiphany 😂. (I've been wanting to use this word for some time now so here goes). I wanted to wear it as a top with various skirts.

I also had a few scuba fabrics I bought from ebay I wanted to make some skirt out of it to wear with the top. I bought lining for the scuba skirt however it didn't arrive so my scuba project has been delayed and I'm not sure i…

The Natural Hair Journey Continues: Box Braiding My Own Hair

Hello and welcome. This is a hair post. I remember in secondary school, my friends would corn row my hair when my hair is not in braids. I wore braids most of the time and due to this my hair grew really long. My mum would usually braid my hair and so I rarely went to the hairstylist to plait my hair.

In recent years I have been braiding my own hair. Partly due to the fact that I cannot be bothered to go and get it done. The thought of sitting for so long just haunts me and hurts my ever growing butt * sweeps hair to side. Also I notice that
In addition to this, although it does not look uber professional its cheap because I only have to buy the hair. I usually keep it in for about 2 months and I prefer not to over manipulate the hair.

When I first went natural I went to a lady to cornrow my hair and she put a hot comb through my precious natural hair like the world was at her mercy. From then I decided to do my own hair because it seemed like many hairdressers didn't know how …
