The Look On Sunday

Hello and welcome to my my blog. This is another the look post where I go through the look I put together.

As always first I will give you some spiritual food first. The scripture was taken from Ecclesiastes 9. It touch on sun and I picked out this one phrase "Small sin can ruin years of good work".

As Christians we have to be be careful that we do not fall. We have to continue to grow up in the christian faith. The wise man is inclined to do that which is wise. I was reminded to remain firm in my faith in Jesus Christ so as to not fall into error or into wrong doing.

Money answers everything meaning it's good when it is used rightly, the love of it is what is wrong. Finally one must live and do all things to the glory of God.

The look

I am loving the L. A girl pro foundation I bought from feelunique.co.uk. I like th coverage it give me. It does not feel too heavy on my face so that's a plus. I have also been using rimmel London lasting finish primer for some time now after my fenty beauty finished. It is doing really well on my skin. It holds my foundation really well as my face stays matte for the time I require it to.

Finish look

I was looking for a midnight blue MUA eye shadow I bout for £1.00 in superdrugs. I finally found it yipee. I put this look together with a gold shimmer shadow from MUAs cosmic vixen pallette. For my lips I used Barrym cosmetics lip pencil in plum, l'oreal lip liqueur in Dracula Blood and bare minerals lip gloss.

The final look

I wore this wig which I bought from aliexpress.com from the vender doll face. It's a 10 inch bob. I like that it's not bulky and more natural density. It is quite thin so if you are into bulky hair this is not for you but if you are looking for an everyday wig, this will be your best friend. Everyone says it looks nice and even believe its my own hair.

I have decided to look into making my own wig and have added a few items on aliexpress ready to purchase when they do their anniversary sale this week. I will be giving my hair and scalp a bit of rest from braiding for a while. Basically what I am trying to say is I'm feeling lazy from braiding the hair and taking it down after plus 2 months.

I hope this inspires your next look.

Until next time, keep smiling.

Thrifted Transformation Project: Process

Hello and welcome. It has been a while since I made a post. I promise to keep the post coming. In this post I am introducing you to an outfit I put together. The top part of the outfit is made with Kente cloth which is a traditional Ghanaian print. This was a piece of cloth that came with a dress my grandad made for me a few years back. I am having to thrift that dress and will reveal it soon. The design and material I had in mind I watched YouTube to replicate a pattern however after putting it together I didn't like it as I felt it was too revealing and was thinking of throwing it away or taking it apart and using it for something else until I had an epiphany 😂. (I've been wanting to use this word for some time now so here goes). I wanted to wear it as a top with various skirts.  I also had a few scuba fabrics I bought from ebay I wanted to make some skirt out of it to wear with the top. I bought lining for the scuba skirt however it didn't arrive s

What I Wore | Makeup & Outfit | ASOS | Primark

Hello and welcome to my blog. This is another what I wore. First I will give you some spiritual food. The scripture today was taken from Colossians 1:29 and 2 - 11. The summary of what was taught to us was to be careful of philosophy of man which has no life in it. And also praying as we may or may not know is a spiritual battle as Paul talks about in his praying for the people in Colosse.  The look Today I used my L A Girl Pro Foundation in Rich Cocoa. For concealer, I mixed MAC studio fix concealer in NW45 and L A Girl Pro concealer in fawn. I used Ben nye powder in to in topaz. For my eye shadow I used MUAs eye shadow pallette Nautral obsession colour 13 on the outer corners of my eyelids and 23 on the lids. I also applied a it of colour 17 in the corners of my eyes. In the outer corner to darken it a bit I applied a bit of the matte obsessed from the Ultimate undressed palette. For a face powder I used MACs studio fix in NW 45. I really like the finish look

The Natural Hair Journey Continues: Box Braiding My Own Hair

Hello and welcome. This is a hair post. I remember in secondary school, my friends would corn row my hair when my hair is not in braids. I wore braids most of the time and due to this my hair grew really long. My mum would usually braid my hair and so I rarely went to the hairstylist to plait my hair. In recent years I have been braiding my own hair. Partly due to the fact that I cannot be bothered to go and get it done. The thought of sitting for so long just haunts me and hurts my ever growing butt * sweeps hair to side. Also I notice that  In addition to this, although it does not look uber professional its cheap because I only have to buy the hair. I usually keep it in for about 2 months and I prefer not to over manipulate the hair.  When I first went natural I went to a lady to cornrow my hair and she put a hot comb through my precious natural hair like the world was at her mercy. From then I decided to do my own hair because it seemed like man
