The Look On Sunday

Hello and welcome to my my blog. This is another the look post where I go through the look I put together.

As always first I will give you some spiritual food first. The scripture was taken from Ecclesiastes 9. It touch on sun and I picked out this one phrase "Small sin can ruin years of good work".

As Christians we have to be be careful that we do not fall. We have to continue to grow up in the christian faith. The wise man is inclined to do that which is wise. I was reminded to remain firm in my faith in Jesus Christ so as to not fall into error or into wrong doing.

Money answers everything meaning it's good when it is used rightly, the love of it is what is wrong. Finally one must live and do all things to the glory of God.

The look

I am loving the L. A girl pro foundation I bought from feelunique.co.uk. I like th coverage it give me. It does not feel too heavy on my face so that's a plus. I have also been using rimmel London lasting finish primer for some time now after my fenty beauty finished. It is doing really well on my skin. It holds my foundation really well as my face stays matte for the time I require it to.

Finish look

I was looking for a midnight blue MUA eye shadow I bout for £1.00 in superdrugs. I finally found it yipee. I put this look together with a gold shimmer shadow from MUAs cosmic vixen pallette. For my lips I used Barrym cosmetics lip pencil in plum, l'oreal lip liqueur in Dracula Blood and bare minerals lip gloss.

The final look

I wore this wig which I bought from aliexpress.com from the vender doll face. It's a 10 inch bob. I like that it's not bulky and more natural density. It is quite thin so if you are into bulky hair this is not for you but if you are looking for an everyday wig, this will be your best friend. Everyone says it looks nice and even believe its my own hair.

I have decided to look into making my own wig and have added a few items on aliexpress ready to purchase when they do their anniversary sale this week. I will be giving my hair and scalp a bit of rest from braiding for a while. Basically what I am trying to say is I'm feeling lazy from braiding the hair and taking it down after plus 2 months.

I hope this inspires your next look.

Until next time, keep smiling.

Thrifted Transformation Project: Process

Hello and welcome. It has been a while since I made a post. I promise to keep the post coming. In this post I am introducing you to an outfit I put together. The top part of the outfit is made with Kente cloth which is a traditional Ghanaian print. This was a piece of cloth that came with a dress my grandad made for me a few years back. I am having to thrift that dress and will reveal it soon. The design and material I had in mind I watched YouTube to replicate a pattern however after putting it together I didn't like it as I felt it was too revealing and was thinking of throwing it away or taking it apart and using it for something else until I had an epiphany ๐Ÿ˜‚. (I've been wanting to use this word for some time now so here goes). I wanted to wear it as a top with various skirts.  I also had a few scuba fabrics I bought from ebay I wanted to make some skirt out of it to wear with the top. I bought lining for the scuba skirt however it didn't arrive s

Switching Up My Waredrope | Haul & Try On

Hello and welcome to my blog. I recently embarked on a fashion haul. My aunty was visiting from Ghana and I accompanied her to do most of her shopping. While with her she pointed out that I need to look good for work as this is were I tend to spend most of my time. I hackened unto her to buy a few things to try and switch up my waredrope. Also I had put on a few pounds and it was time to buy new sizes as my old cloths didn't fit. My old cloths believe it or not are in sizes 4 and 6 however now I can fit in an 8 and I feel I look a lot better. I did a few shopping in Primark were I bought 3 dresses in size UK8 all of which were full price item. The mustard dress fits fine and I love the colour however the other 2 are very tight even though they are size 8. I have not worn them yet so maybe they will loosen up -  this is what happens when you can't be bothered to try stuff on before you buy them๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพ‍♀️. I also bought several trousers and tops from H&M,

What I Have Been Up To - Investing & Developing Now Skills

Hello and welcome. It's been a long time since I posted on here and a lot has changed. I have been a bit busy doing other things however I think I will be frequenting this blog going forward. One of my recent investment Now onto what I have been up to. A few months ago I invested in a sewing machine from amazon. I was happy to get a 0% interest and paid in installment. If you are in finance you know there's no such thing as 0% interest. Ha! I did manage to sew a dress and wore it for as a bridesmaid dress at a friend's wedding. The finishing was not good and I have learnt alot from that experience. The bridesmaid dress I made ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿฟ‍♀️ I have now moved on to my second, third and forth project and will share it with you in due time. I have decided to pick this up due to the uncertainties within the corporate world. So let's wait and see what I can deliver going forward. Currently in the process or making this circle skirt dress I am very ex
