What I wore: Denim and african print

Hello and welcome. This is another what I wore blog post.

The look
With my makeup I wanted something natural and simple. So I opted for a shimmery brown eye shadow from bare minerals and pinkish nudish for my lips. I lined my lips using barry m lip pencil in plum. I'm not too sure which foundation I used my guess will be l'oreal true match in dark coffee.

The outfit
I am wearing a Kente print Corset and a pair of wide leg high Waisted denim from cheap Monday which I purchased hed from asos a few years ago. I bought a couple skinny jeans from the same brand as well as they fitted me really well due to my small waist. But I seem to have gained a few pounds on my tights so now they get stuck there and do not go any further. *cries

I managed to create two different looks with this jeans. I bought the shoes from new look the bold colour from the shoes is in the same colour block as the cost so I feel it looks really nice.

I did try to iron but I was in a hurry so I guess I have to try harder next time.

Thanks for stopping by, until next time. It's bye from me.

Introducing: My First Thrifted Transformation Project

Hello and welcome to my blog. So as you may know I recently decided to be more of content creator or creative and have picked up sewing. This is something I wanted to learn for sometime however due unforseen circumstances they got brushed off. In addition to my multiple sewing projects I have an outfit I am transforming. I have had the outfit for some time now and the idea was that with time I will grow into it but that never happened. Due to this, now is the time to transform it to my size and wear it. When this was getting made in Ghana, I didn't send my measurement and I assume my grandad thought I had put on weight. The dress was almost twice my size when I got it first. The initial style was halter neck however I have completely change the style to an off shoulder-like dress. See pic below.  The questions is to whether have this as a skirt and top or a dress. A dress will be easier in themes of having the supplies I need whereas a top and skirt are the easi

Thrifted Transformation Project: Process

Hello and welcome. It has been a while since I made a post. I promise to keep the post coming. In this post I am introducing you to an outfit I put together. The top part of the outfit is made with Kente cloth which is a traditional Ghanaian print. This was a piece of cloth that came with a dress my grandad made for me a few years back. I am having to thrift that dress and will reveal it soon. The design and material I had in mind I watched YouTube to replicate a pattern however after putting it together I didn't like it as I felt it was too revealing and was thinking of throwing it away or taking it apart and using it for something else until I had an epiphany 😂. (I've been wanting to use this word for some time now so here goes). I wanted to wear it as a top with various skirts.  I also had a few scuba fabrics I bought from ebay I wanted to make some skirt out of it to wear with the top. I bought lining for the scuba skirt however it didn't arrive s

What I Have Been Up To - Investing & Developing Now Skills

Hello and welcome. It's been a long time since I posted on here and a lot has changed. I have been a bit busy doing other things however I think I will be frequenting this blog going forward. One of my recent investment Now onto what I have been up to. A few months ago I invested in a sewing machine from amazon. I was happy to get a 0% interest and paid in installment. If you are in finance you know there's no such thing as 0% interest. Ha! I did manage to sew a dress and wore it for as a bridesmaid dress at a friend's wedding. The finishing was not good and I have learnt alot from that experience. The bridesmaid dress I made 💁🏿‍♀️ I have now moved on to my second, third and forth project and will share it with you in due time. I have decided to pick this up due to the uncertainties within the corporate world. So let's wait and see what I can deliver going forward. Currently in the process or making this circle skirt dress I am very ex
